Chrysler Group LLC wants a federal judge to halt sales of its "Imported From Detroit" T-shirts or other merchandise in a trademark infringement lawsuit filed against Detroit retailer Pure Detroit and its co-owners in U.S. District Court. This week the automaker filed suit against Moda Group LLC, which operates Pure Detroit's three stores selling Detroit-branded merchandise.
Nissan Motor Co. and Daimler AG said they have agreed to produce four-cylinder Mercedes-Benz gasoline engines at Nissan's Decherd, Tenn., engine factory from 2014 to be fitted on Mercedes-Benz and Infiniti models. Heated and cooled seats, a special White Diamond Edition paint job and a new navigation system are among the upgrades for the 2012 Chevrolet Silverado. Both heavy-duty and light-duty versions also get the option of a Wi-Fi system, installed by the dealer, and new front-end designs.
